BLOOD PRESSURE MEASUREMENT SYSTEM BASED ON OSCILLOMETRIC METHOD

Resumen


This work presents a methodology for the non-invasive measurement of blood pressure, the algorithm for the obtention of blood pressure (systolic, mean and diastolic pressures) is based on the oscillometric method. In oscillometric method the pressures are determined by applying a mathematical criterion to the oscillometric index pulse. In this work the slope criteria to calculate systolic and diastolic pressures is used. The developed system is capable of obtaining the blood pressure parameters for humans and rats, where blood pressure measurements in Wistar rats are realized as part of the development of other scientific research in Chemistry field.
